Turkish president back home after attending G20 summit in Brazil
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan returned to Türkiye after attending the G20 Leaders' Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
He was accompanied by first lady Emine Erdogan, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek, AK Party spokesperson Omer Celik, Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Presidential Advisor on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Cagatay Kilic.
President Erdogan participated in the G20 leaders' summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he met with leaders, including Malaysia's Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italy's Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Spanish Premier Pedro Sanchez and Australian Premier Anthony Albanese.
Erdogan also had brief talks with US counterpart Joe Biden, China's President Xi Jinping, Mexico's Claudia Sheinbaum, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, Vietnam's Pham Minh Chinh, and Egypt's President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.
