Istanbul Forum to explore challenges facing the Muslim world
The Cihannuma Solidarity and Cooperation Association will host the Istanbul Forum 2024 on Dec. 13-15 in partnership with Anadolu, bringing together academics, thinkers, and activists at the Halic University Congress Center to explore challenges facing the Muslim world.
Riza Yorulmaz, the association's president, said at a launch event in Istanbul that Türkiye plays a pivotal role as a beacon of hope for the Islamic world and oppressed nations.
The event will focus on "Contemporary Islamic Thought and the Islamic World," addressing key issues such as knowledge-based governance, overcoming global challenges, and ensuring justice, according to Vice President Associate Professor Ebubekir Ceylan.
He emphasized the forum’s goal of developing actionable solutions and roadmaps for Muslim societies.
The forum is part of a broader initiative by the organization to contribute to policymaking through symposiums and workshops held in recent years.
