Turkish foreign minister receives deputy foreign ministers of Turkic states
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Friday met with deputy foreign ministers of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS).
The meeting was held in the Turkish capital Ankara, the Foreign Ministry said on X, providing no further details.
This comes after the OTS celebrated its 15th anniversary on Thursday.
Founded in 2009, the organization includes Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan as full members, while Hungary, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus are observers.
The OTS aims to promote trade, political, cultural, and security cooperation among Turkic-speaking nations.
